Monitored Utility Sub-Metering

Utilizing the latest technology, Apex Billing will monitor, read and record actual resident water usage and then assess the appropriate monthly charges based on local rates.  This information is recorded onsite and electronically transmitted to our facility. 
This technology allows us to serve property owners in any geographical location.

In addition, we also monitor and bill for utility consumption utilizing RUB’s (Ratio Utility Billing).  This process can be used when properties are unable to be retrofitted to allow for electronic monitoring.

Billing and Collection Process - Once our system is implemented, each resident will receive an itemized statement of account on a monthly basis.  This statement reflects monthly usage totals and the amount owed based on local water rates.  Residents are provided with a variety of payment options to include automatic draft, personal check, cashiers check, money order and credit card.  Residents can remit their payments via mail, pay online through our website or call or toll free customer service line 24hours a day, 7 days a week.

Payments to owners – As payments are received from your residents, we will take our fee for the service.  Owners will then receive reimbursement dollars two times per month.  These reimbursement dollars can be distributed in the form of a check or funds can be directly deposited into the property owner’s account.

Ancillary Services – In addition to monitoring and billing for utilities, we also bill for ancillary services provided to your residents.  Cable and waste management are just two of the ancillary services that can be billed directly to your residents through our service, resulting in additional revenue for you.

Monthly Reports – Monthly reports can be viewed and printed directly through our website.  Residents will have the option to log into their secured account and view current statements as well as previous month’s statements.  Property managers and owners will have the ability to log in, view and print reports related to resident’s account history, delinquent accounts and accounts receivable just to name a few.
